Two teen boys were busted Monday for allegedly taking an empty subway train on a joyride more than a week ago in Brooklyn, cops and sources said.

The teens, ages 15 and 17, were separately nabbed on warrants after someone ratted them out in connection to the Jan. 25 escapade on board an R train at 36th Street in Sunset Park, law enforcement sources said.

The younger boy was picked up by a youth officer at James Madison High School in Midwood, sources said. It’s unclear where the older teen was nabbed. Charges were pending against both teens, sources said.

It’s unclear where he was nabbed.

The 17-year-old has one prior juvenile arrest for robbery from late October, sources said.

The boys — part of a six-member group of teen troublemakers — were nabbed days after the NYPD released new footage of the hooligans inside the station, with their faces clearly visible.

The thrill-seeking kids initially tried to cover the train’s security camera lenses with black marker in a bid to shield their identities, according to cops.

They still recorded the stunt and later posted footage of it on Instagram, police sources said.

The brazen backpack-wearing crew reached speeds of roughly 30 mph during the caper, according to the sources.

At least part of their journey was taken on active train lines – though it was unclear how far they made it before ditching the train, sources said.

The four other suspects were still on the loose Monday.
