The Door County Sheriff’s Office Has Identified the Sturgeon Bay Man Who Died in the Wis. 42 Crash

EGG HARBOR, WI – Deputies have issued an update on Wednesday morning’s fatal crash on WIS 42, identifying the 64-year-old man who died after colliding with an SUV.

Deputies from the Door County Sheriff’s Office have named the 64-year-old Sturgeon Bay man who died as Glen Reimer.

Around 10:35 a.m. on November 20, multiple agencies responded to a two-vehicle crash on WIS 42 in Egg Harbor near Sunny Point Road.

According to deputies, an early investigation revealed that Reimer was driving a van south on WIS 42 when it crossed the center line and collided with a northbound SUV.

Reimer was brought to a local hospital and pronounced dead.

Deputies say an autopsy was performed at the Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office on November 21, and the results are still waiting.

This incident is still under investigation, and no other information is being shared at this time.
