Race Day Live Three men have been indicted in Ohio for the burglary at Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow’s home.
Authorities say the men were part of a theft group believed to be from South America. They were arrested late last month after the break-in, which happened on December 9th.
Burrow was in Texas at the time, playing a game with the Bengals against the Dallas Cowboys.
The three men arrested are Jordan Francisco Quiroga Sanchez, 22; Bastian Alejandro Orellana Morales, 23; and Sergio Andres Ortega Cabello, 38.
They were indicted by a federal grand jury on Wednesday and face charges of transporting stolen goods across state lines and falsifying records in a federal investigation.
The FBI found photos on Cabello’s phone showing stolen items from the break-in and pictures of the three men with another person.
While Burrow’s full name wasn’t mentioned in the court documents, it refers to an NFL player for the Cincinnati Bengals, which matches the details of the case.
Burrow spoke out after the incident, saying he felt violated and that too much private information was made public. “
Everyone has heard what happened. I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one,” he said on December 11, just days after the break-in.
The burglary was discovered at around 8:14 p.m. on December 9 when someone noticed a broken window and disarray in Burrow’s home.
The stolen items included luggage, wristwatches, glasses, and jewelry, with an estimated value of over $300,000. Investigators found clues that led them to a 2024 Volkswagen Atlas SUV, which was found abandoned in Florida.

The person who rented the SUV eventually led authorities to Cabello, and cellphone data helped identify the other men involved.
The three men were arrested in January when they were stopped by the Ohio State Highway Patrol. A fourth suspect was also arrested and is facing state charges.
Authorities also found that all of the suspects were in the United States without proper authorization.
In another part of the investigation, two men were charged in New York for buying and selling stolen goods from the burglary.
Dimitriy Nezhinskiy and Juan Villar were charged with conspiracy to receive stolen property. Authorities say they operated a pawn shop in Manhattan and were involved in selling stolen goods from the break-in.
The stolen goods found in their possession were estimated to be worth around $1.5 million, with the potential to reach $5 million once all items are accounted for. Nezhinskiy and Villar both pleaded not guilty in court on Wednesday.
As the investigation continues, the U.S. Attorney’s Office is working to track down and stop these theft groups that are operating across various parts of the country.
