A person was injured in a crash in N.C. Highway 42 near Willow Spring early Friday morning.
The accident happened around 6 a.m. near Mount Pleasant Road. One person was taken to the hospital, but the extent of their injuries is unclear.
Sky 5 captured footage of the scene at 7 a.m., showing a heavily damaged SUV on the side of N.C. 42 with debris scattered nearby. Police and fire crews were blocking the road in the area.
WRAL News is working to confirm how many vehicles were involved. The State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
