Two males were arrested after sheriff’s officers discovered probable methamphetamine and narcotics ingredients near a Preble County school last week.
Deputies were investigating drug trafficking accusations in a West Alexandria garage within 1000 feet of Twin Valley South Schools, according to the Preble County Sheriff’s Office.
They approached a man leaving a garage in the 100 block of West Dayton Street and discovered that he had “traded” for methamphetamines.
Deputies were permitted to search the garage, and they uncovered seven grams of suspected methamphetamine, digital scales, and meth pipes.
According to the sheriff’s office, one of the suspects acknowledged selling methamphetamine in a garage less than 1000 feet from the school.
Robert Johnson, 39, was arrested and charged with two felony charges of aggravated drug trafficking and aggravated drug possession in Eaton Municipal Court.
Clyde Miller, 41, of West Alexandria, was arrested and charged with one felony count of aggravated narcotics possession, according to the sheriff’s office.
According to online jail records, Johnson is currently in the Preble County Jail.
