PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — The Virginia State Police carried out Operation Snow Eagle, a criminal enforcement initiative, from February 23 to March 1.
During this period, authorities executed 111 search warrants, leading to a total of 739 arrests—603 for felonies and 136 for misdemeanors. Among those arrested were 134 fugitives.
Police also seized various narcotics, including fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, mushrooms, hashish, and marijuana, with an estimated street value of nearly $11.6 million.
