Five People From South Carolina Are Being Charged With Killing a Teen at a Georgia Homecoming Party

Five young men from the Upstate of South Carolina have been charged with murder in Georgia after a homecoming party last month where someone died.

Bry’shun Local news sources say that Treviyus O’Brien Jordan, 15, died after being shot at a party at a bar on October 12 in Elbert County, Georgia, which is not far from Athens. Seven more people were hurt, and four of them were hit by bullets.

This week, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation arrested four more guys from Anderson who were linked to the killing.

They were charged with murder, being a party to a crime, and breaking the Georgia Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act. Destanne Mathis, 20, and Desmond Latimer, 18, were also charged.

They were charged with murder, aggravated attack, aggravated battery, and breaking the Georgia Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act. Aanidras Parks, 18, and Jerimiyah Hughes, 19, were also charged.

Police say that the people who are being charged are being held at the Elbert County Jail. A probe is still going on.
