Easy and Delicious Oven-Roasted Garlic-Parmesan Broccoli Recipe

2 min read

This is my favorite way to cook broccoli because it tastes so great. This recipe is a family favorite and is very easy to make. These things are what you will need:

How to make it:

  • 2 heads of broccoli
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil or avocado oil
  • 4 tablespoons chopped or shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 to 1 clove of garlic, cut into thin slices
  • 1/2 lemon zest and juice, if you want to.
  • Add pepper and salt to taste.
  • Warm the oven up to 425 degrees.

Clean the broccoli stems and cut them into small pieces. Tip: If you’d rather, you can use those fresh bags that are already cut up.

Spray or put down a piece of parchment paper in a big baking pan. Add the broccoli, oil, lemon zest, 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Toss the ingredients together until they are well combined.

Put this in the oven and roast it for 10 to 12 minutes. Set the food aside for 5 more minutes after adding the garlic slices.

Put the Parmesan cheese on top of this, and then cook the broccoli until the cheese melts. It will take another three to five minutes. Take it out of the oven.

Add the lemon juice now if you choose to, and then toss the broccoli. Have fun!

Note: If you’d rather not use parmesan cheese, you can add cheddar cheese instead. However, the parmesan cheese makes the broccoli taste great.

This goes well with grilled foods or an Italian meal I made myself. It does go well with many foods.
