Alabama Fugitive Wanted for Attempted Murder Captured at Muscogee County Motel

Yolanda Alisa Crawford, 39, was caught by police at a hotel in Muscogee County on November 26, 2024. The Phenix City Police Department was looking for Crawford because he was suspected of felony attempted murder in a shooting that happened in Phenix City by accident on October 19, 2024.

The arrest was made by the Special Operations Unit of the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office with help from the IRS, the Columbus Police Department, and the Phenix City Police Department.

Crawford was arrested without any problems and taken to the Muscogee County Jail, where she is being held until she is sent back to Alabama.
