An Indiana man who once sent a 12-year-old girl strange texts after putting a furnace in her family’s home may now face up to 19 counts of child exploitation, according to new allegations.
According to the Fishers Police Department, Kenneth L. Foxx of Brazil was arrested on September 23 on 19 preliminary counts of child exploitation, a Level 4 felony. Charges have not yet been filed in the case; they must be filed by the Vigo County Prosecutor’s Office.
According to Fishers police, the Hamilton County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force started investigating Foxx after receiving a computer tip. Investigators gained access to various Foxx-related social media accounts, which allegedly held several files of child sexual exploitation material.
Police stated that throughout the inquiry, they discovered that Foxx was the target of a Texas police investigation because he reportedly planned to travel to Texas and participate in sex activities with a minor.
Fox is now being imprisoned at the Montgomery County Jail in Texas. According to court documents, Foxx has previously been charged with contacting juveniles.
On May 30, 2022, the Vigo County Sheriff’s Department learned that Foxx had sent inappropriate texts to a 12-year-old girl after installing a furnace in her home.
“You remember the guy that installed the furnace in your house?” Foxx texted the youngster.
“Well that’s me and I thought you were quite sexy.”
Foxx eventually pleaded guilty to one count of inappropriate communication with a kid, a misdemeanor, and spent 279 days of probation. He was also sentenced to 50 hours of community service.
