Blaine Woman Admits Sexually Abusing Two Teen Hockey Players at Roseville Motel

A Blaine woman has pleaded guilty to sexually abusing two 15-year-old Colorado hockey players at a hotel in Roseville.

Allison Schardin, 39, pleaded guilty to a third-degree criminal sexual conduct charge on Friday, and a fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct charge was withdrawn as part of the plea deal.

According to the criminal complaint, Schardin met the victims in a Roseville hotel room on January 14. Both boys were members of a hockey team visiting from Colorado, and Schardin met them in the hotel’s hot tub to tell them about her marital issues.

According to the accusations, later that night she messaged one of the boys on Snapchat and invited him to come to her room. Schardin asked two of the boys sexual questions and how old they were while inside, adding that they were “young enough to be her kids,” according to the complaint.

Schardin then allegedly had sexual contact with the two boys, with one victim claiming she was “insistent” about having intercourse.

She emailed one of the victims the next day, asking where they were playing hockey, and then arrived at the rink a short time later. The lads all felt concerned as she attempted to follow them, with one victim stating, “It was really creepy.”

After the crew returned to Colorado, Schardin continued to text the two victims, requesting that one of them not inform the police.

Police were notified of the event on Jan. 22, and Schardin was detained on Feb. 1. She claimed to have gone to the hotel for a “stay-cation” with her family.

Her next court appearance is on January 10 at 9 a.m.
