Chicago Police Launch Manhunt for Suspect Involved in Indecent Act Near Children on North Side

CHICAGO — Police on Monday were looking for a man wanted for sexually exploiting minors on a home block in the West Rogers Park area during the weekend.

According to police, at 5:53 p.m. on Sunday, the guy committed an indecent act in front of two small children in the 6200 block of North Maplewood Avenue, between Rosemont and Granville Avenues.

According to authorities, the man fled but then returned to the site. By then, the kids had gone inside.

The man was last seen walking south along Maplewood Avenue.

Police described the man as Caucasian or Hispanic, 35 to 45 years old, with a light complexion, medium frame, and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a red cap, a gray short-sleeved shirt with an unknown logo on the front, light-blue pants, a blue jacket knotted around his waist, and white gym shoes, according to authorities.
