Elderly Man Crash Car after Suffering Medical Episode in Wisconsin; 2 Hurt in ARCADIA

Race Day Live (ARCADIA, WI ) – Two people were injured in a crash in Wisconsin on Friday morning, which authorities believe was triggered by a medical episode.

According to a Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office release, deputies responded to a crash report at 11:28 a.m. on East Wilson Avenue and State Highway 93 in Arcadia.

According to officials, a vehicle traveling east on East Wilson Avenue ran a red light at the intersection, then drove east across the highway, exited the road, and smashed into a concrete culvert.

Both the driver and passenger of the vehicle, John (80) and Roberta (83) Steenlage of Arcadia, had to be extricated and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to deputies, the driver of the vehicle may have undergone a medical crisis and lost consciousness before to the incident.

There is no additional information available at this time, and the incident is no longer being investigated.
