Race Day Live (INDIANAPOLIS, IN) – A recent narcotics bust on Indianapolis’ northwest side resulted in one arrest, the discovery of roughly 50 pounds of marijuana, and $47,000 in cash.
Detectives learned in early January that 33-year-old Matthew Dillon was “likely selling large amounts of marijuana” from a residence off 34th Street near the I-74/I-465 intersection, according to an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department release.
Investigators obtained a search warrant for Dillon’s home and discovered the following:
- 49.728 pounds of raw marijuana
- 434 THC vape cartridges
- Almost 100 grams of THC wax and THC edibles
- 7 rifles and 7 pistols
- 4,452 rounds of ammunition
- $46,929 in cash
After an interview with investigators, Dillon was arrested on Friday for abandonment of a dependent, dealing in a controlled narcotic, dealing in marijuana, marijuana possession, and maintaining a common nuisance.

According to online prison records, Dillon was booked into the Marion County prison on Friday and released Saturday after posting a $20,000 bond.
Dillon was scheduled to appear in court for her initial hearing at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
