Las Vegas Sisters and Accomplice Charged in Deadly Sex and Robbery Plot

LAS VEGAS — A statement of arrest says that two sisters and a man from Las Vegas are accused of getting another man to have sex with them so they could rob him, and that’s when the other man was shot in the head.

Records show that Nathan Nava, 22, Skylar Bailey, 23, and Emiley Ridout, 20, are all charged with open murder, battery to commit robbery, and plot to commit robbery.

Around 7:55 p.m. on July 19, police were called to the 4700 block of Arid Avenue, which is near Nellis Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue, to reports of gunshots and a person who might have been shot.

Police said that when they got there, they saw a man later identified as 19-year-old Conner Rebolledo lying in the parking lot, not moving. There was blood coming from his head, and he was carrying a gun with his finger on the trigger.

Rebolledo was declared dead at the scene of the crime. The Clark County Coroner’s Office found that he died from a gunshot wound to the head.

Police say that a woman who lives in the apartment complex saw Rebolledo walking with a woman while she was in her apartment with the window open. Suddenly, three men ran up and “jumped” Rebolledo, the woman said.

There were three guys who beat Rebolledo. One of them had a gun and used it to pistol whip him several times. According to the report, a witness said the woman stood nearby but did nothing to calm things down. She then ran away when the gunshots started.

The person who hit Rebolledo with a gun shot him two or three times during the fight. While the shots were going off, the three men ran in different ways. Police say one of them ran to the woman.

Minutes after police dispatch sent out the suspects’ description, an unmarked LVMPD officer and her car drove into the apartment complex. She looked around and saw that another car was following the same path through the complex.

Police say that as the officer drove further, she saw a woman and two men who looked and dressed like some of the suspects walk into the parking lot and wave at her. They seemed to be in a hurry.

The agent saw that the group thought she was their rideshare, so she kept driving and saw them get into the car behind her. According to police, they followed the car and stopped it, detaining Nava, Bailey, and a family friend of Nava.

Nava told the cops that he and Bailey, his baby’s mother, were together with some other people at the apartment of a friend who lived in the complex when Robelledo showed up. The report said that Nava said two of the men at the flat told him that Robelledo owed them money and wanted to rob him. However, Nava did not want to be a part of the plan.

Nava said that the two guys jumped Rebolledo and that he never saw a gun. He then asked a family member to send a rideshare to pick him and Bailey up.

She told the cops that she and Rebolledo were walking when the men jumped him. According to police, she said she met Rebolledo at a party about a month before.

When police talked to Rebolledo’s mother and lover, they said that he got a message around 8:30 p.m. on the night he was killed, telling them that he was meeting a friend and would be back in 30 minutes. Police say that was the last time they saw Rebolledo living.

The police then talked to Rebolledo’s coworker, who said that Rebolledo was talking to a girl on Instagram whose name was “Emiley” and was planning to meet her and hook up with her. They were supposed to meet on July 16, but “Emiley” called off. They were supposed to meet again on July 18, the day before Rebolledo was killed, but “Emiley” said she had a flat tire, according to the report.

Emiley was making plans with Rebolledo and telling him that they would “for sure meet tomorrow,” which is when he was killed, according to police. Rebolledo then sent screenshots of their texts.

Messaging by text

Police looked through the phones of Rebolledo, Nava, and Bailey and found messages between Bailey and Ridout. They later found out that Ridout was the person Rebolledo was writing on Instagram as “Emiley.” The police also found out that Bailey and Ridout were related.

Police said that when detectives looked at the messages between Bailey and Ridout, it was clear that Nava and Bailey were having “severe financial difficulties” and had been kicked out of their home with their children.

In a text message on July 2, Bailey and Ridout talked about Rebolledo’s Instagram. Ridout said, “Okay, done.” “Like, I unfollowed you and deleted you,” he said. Bailey replied, “He blocked me,” and cops say he sent a screenshot of his Instagram.

Reports say that the same day Ridout sent Bailey a screenshot of her chat with Rebolledo and said, “Only for yall.” Bailey replied, “We win you win.”

Ridout asked Bailey, “How do you know he’s going to have the money on him?” Bailey replied, “He always brings it with him because he likes to look flashy and show off,” according to the cops.

Rebolledo, Ridout, and Bailey were all in touch with each other all the time from July 2 to July 16. Police say that Bailey sometimes typed messages for Ridout to copy and send to Robelledo.

The report said that on July 19, Bailey told Ridout not to answer Rebolledo’s texts because she was going to text him straight from a different number.

Police also looked at the messages that Bailey sent to Nava. They seemed to show that Nava had a history of robbing people, going back to 2023 when he said, “I promise this month over I’m going hard baby no more robbing,” according to the report.

On July 16, the day Rebolledo and Ridout were meant to meet, Nava texted Bailey, “Is he talking to you?” Bailey replied, “He’s checking his messages,” and Nava texted back, “I love you too, my stomach is in knots.”

Nava and Bailey texted each other on July 18 to ask who they could borrow a gun from. Police say that around 7:24 p.m. on July 19, Bailey texted Nava the address where Rebolledo was later killed.

Police also found texts from July 19 between Nava and a person named “Spazz Out.” In them, Nava asks “Bros can you grab me cuh ready?” and “He trynna link and everything bro.”

The messages also say, “He got bread bro, he just got back from the casino” and “He just came back from the casino.” Police said they are looking into who “Spazz Out” is because it looks like they are also one of the people who worked with Nava to rob Rebolledo.

Over time, the police learned that Rebolledo worked at a company that refilled ATMs, which meant that he would be around a lot of cash. When police looked at Rebolledo’s Instagram page, they saw that he often posted pictures of himself with large amounts of cash. This fit with Bailey’s description of him as flashy and a show-off. Police say that when officers talked to Rebolledo’s manager, he said that the way the money was packed in the mail was the same way it is packed before it is put into ATMs.

Police say that the boss told Rebolledo not to post those pictures because they could make him a target for a robbery.

Records show that Nava, Ridout, and Bailey are all set to go to court on September 17 for a preliminary hearing.
