Authorities say that a crazy man charged into an airport in Montana and forced his way into the cockpit of an Alaska Airlines plane before being caught.
On October 22, 34-year-old Justin Reed Seymour was arrested after getting through the TSA checkpoint at Missoula International Airport without being caught. A representative for Missoula International Airport confirmed this to Fox News Digital.
KGVO said that TSA officers could be heard yelling “Stop him!” and “Breach, breach, breach!” as Seymour looked at Alaska Airlines Flight 697, a Boeing 737, that had just arrived.
Reports say that Seymour charged down the jet bridge while a flight worker tried to stop the situation from getting worse. Court records that the local news source got show that Seymour pushed the worker to the ground and then went to the plane.
Then Seymour is said to have stormed onto the plane and hit two flight attendants who tried to stop him.
According to the local news source, one of the flight attendants was pushed into the cockpit door, and the other airline worker’s fingers were crushed when they tried to turn the deadbolt on the door to lock it.
The police finally caught up with the Seymour… A local news source said that the police said he was saying that he had to get to Estonia.
He later told the cops that “bad people” had told him to take the plane.
Court records show that Seymour later told police, “All I had to do was fly the plane, but I didn’t.” I believed I would be able to.
He or she was charged with felony robbery and felony severe burglary over the age of 34. He is being held at the Missoula County Detention Center on a bond of $500,000.
