The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Rocky Mountain Field Division has arrested 10 of Colorado’s most dangerous drug criminals.
These arrests were part of “Operation Return to Sender,” which aims to remove high-level offenders from the streets. Over the last 16 days, law enforcement has detained more than 90 suspects in this operation.
Links to Venezuelan Gang
Authorities revealed that at least three of the arrested individuals were connected to the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua (TdA).
This gang is known for its violent activities and drug trafficking operations. While the DEA released photos of 10 key suspects, officials say there are still more dangerous criminals among the remaining 80 arrested individuals.
ICE Takes Over Deportation Process
The 10 major suspects have been transferred to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody. They are expected to face deportation due to their immigration status and criminal activities.
However, not all 90 suspects arrested were undocumented immigrants. Law enforcement has not disclosed further details due to ongoing investigations.
Serious Criminal Charges
The charges against these individuals are severe, ranging from fentanyl distribution and kidnapping to child sexual assault.
Authorities say these crimes pose a significant threat to public safety. Some of these suspects were also involved in an ICE raid at an illegal nightclub in January, where multiple arrests were made.
DEA and Law Enforcement Collaboration
DEA Special Agent in Charge Jonathan Pullen emphasized that law enforcement agencies are working together more efficiently than ever before.
He stated that the DEA, ICE, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), and the FBI are combining resources to fight drug-related crimes.
“We are collaborating in ways we never have before,” Pullen told Fox News. “We are taking intelligence from all agencies and using it to target high-level criminals.”

Increased ICE Raids Under Trump Administration
Since former President Donald Trump took office, ICE has intensified its operations across the country.
The agency has increased daily arrests, aiming to detain at least 1,200 undocumented immigrants per day. Thousands of illegal aliens have been detained nationwide as part of these efforts.
Ongoing Efforts to Keep Communities Safe
The DEA and other law enforcement agencies continue their crackdown on dangerous criminals involved in drug trafficking and violent crimes.
Officials say their priority is to ensure the safety of American communities by removing high-threat individuals from the streets.
Law enforcement agencies encourage citizens to report any suspicious activities that could help in ongoing investigations.
