NORTH TEXAS – In Dallas and Fort Worth, it was cold to start the day on Tuesday, with temperatures in the low 50s and high 40s. In the afternoon, though, temperatures rose above normal and reached their highest point in the mid-70s across North Texas.
We can expect more of the same on Wednesday. There will be a few more clouds in the morning as a cold front moves through.
A few places may get a few showers, and behind the front, we will all feel the cool breeze from the northwest.
On Thursday, colder air moves into the area, and overnight lows are expected to be in the 40s. North Texas will still have cool mornings through the weekend.
This weekend will be the start of a change in the weather. As the weather changes, there is a chance of more rain from Sunday evening into Monday.
This weekend, there will be more clouds and rain before our next storm hits. Models are making it take longer for the front to arrive. It will bring showers and storms on Monday.
Late next week, on Thursday and Friday, it will get cold. Mornings will be in the 30s and highs will be in the 50s.
During this warm stretch, enjoy the weather before it gets cold.
