Omelet in a Cup Recipe Simple and Delicious!

2 min read

I cooked several of these omelets the other day, and they were delicious. My family really appreciates these since they can add their favorite toppings, and they are so simple to make that even the kids can do it. You will require the following ingredients:

Recipe:

  • One-half teaspoon of butter
  • 3 eggs
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Two slices of bacon, cooked and diced
  • Two teaspoons of shredded cheese.

Optional components include sausage, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, ham, and any of your favorite omelet fixings.

Using a big coffee cup, massage the interior with the butter. Tip: Do not melt this; instead, rub it within.

Crack the eggs and place them in the cup. Season them with salt, pepper, and your favorite seasonings. Add the bacon and stir again.

Next, add the cheese and mix one more.

Cook for 3 minutes in the microwave, then gently remove the cup and stir the omelet, which is not totally cooked at this stage. Make sure to separate any large clumps.

Place the cup back in the microwave and cook for another 3 minutes. Carefully remove the cup from the microwave. Enjoy!

Note: You can make a variety of individual omelets and experiment with the ingredients.

I prefer to serve these with a side of fruit and toast for an easy breakfast when I want a homecooked meal but don’t have much time to prepare it.
