Salvation Army bellringers at Market 32 and Price Chopper stores in New York, Vermont, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire raised over $618,000 during the six-week “Red Kettle” holiday campaign in November and December 2024.
The funds will support essential services like food assistance, shelter, and emergency relief.
“Every donation made at our stores has a direct impact, helping The Salvation Army provide hope and support to those in need,” said Pam Cerrone, Market 32/Price Chopper’s director of community relations.
“We’re proud of our long-term partnership and thankful to our customers for stepping up to support this important cause and make a difference in so many lives.”
Major Kevin Stoops, Divisional Commander for The Salvation Army, Empire State Division, also expressed gratitude.
“Our ongoing Red Kettle partnership with Price Chopper and Market 32, along with the generosity of their customers and bell-ringing volunteers, allows us to help those most in need year-round.
The funds raised stay within local communities, supporting food pantries, holiday and emergency programs, youth and senior services, and more. Thank you to everyone who helped make this campaign a success!”
