Race Day Live Two Rice Lake-men, Benjamin D. Blomberg, 26, and Carl A. Reidell, 23, are facing serious felony charges after being caught selling methamphetamine in a series of drug stings.
The arrests took place in Barron County on January 16, following a well-planned operation by the Barron County Sheriff’s Department.
The authorities set up controlled buys using a confidential informant. The informant, equipped with money and an audio transmitter, met with the suspects to buy meth.
After the transactions, the informant returned the drugs to detectives and identified Blomberg and Reidell from their booking photos.

The charges against the two men include delivery of meth and two counts of delivery of meth as a party to a crime.
If convicted, they could face up to 15 years in prison and a fine of up to $50,000. Additionally, their driving privileges may be suspended for up to five years.
Both men are out on $10,000 signature bonds and are scheduled for their initial court appearances on February 26.
