Port Allen Police Arrest Two, Seize Drugs and Prescription Stickers in Motel Bust

Race Day Live (PORT ALLEN, LA) – Following a controlled purchase, the West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office announced on Wednesday that two individuals were taken into custody during a drug bust that took place in Port Allen.

The suspected distribution took place in a room that was hired at the Audubon Inn, which is located on Lobdell Highway, according to the deputies. Derwin Oubre, age 36, and Latreeka Comeaux, age 34, were identified as suspects by the deputies at the scene.

Comeaux was taken into custody following a controlled purchase of heroin, whereas Oubre was taken into custody following a search of the room by law enforcement.

Five grams of cocaine, 76 grams of methamphetamine, three grams of heroin, 275 grams of marijuana, and 3.5 Xanax tablets were among the items that were taken into custody by the deputies. Other items included a roll of medical cannabis RX prescription stickers.
