Race Day Live (PROVO, UT) –  When officials confiscated and searched a suspicious package that was being transported to a Provo address, detectives found what was estimated to be roughly 210,000 fatal doses of the narcotic Carfentanil.

According to the deputies, the Utah County Major Crimes Task Force was informed about a suspicious package that was being delivered to a residence within their jurisdiction. This is what prompted the investigation to begin.

According to reports, the Department of Homeland Security confiscated the box, which was discovered to contain 20.8 grams of Carfentanil. According to deputies, Carfentanil is 100 times more strong and dangerous than fentanyl, and they stressed the dangers of using it.

The shipment was ordered by two adult men who were identified as the culprits. Investigators found a large quantity of illegal substances in their residence after obtaining a search order from the court.
