According to a recent study by Niche, two areas in San Diego have been recognized as some of the best places to live in the United States.
Niche evaluated 230 cities across the country to determine the overall livability, considering factors such as crime rates, housing trends, job opportunities, location, diversity, and climate. Each city was then assigned a grade based on these criteria.
San Diego
San Diego ranked at No. 52 on Niche’s list, receiving an impressive A grade overall. The city scored high in areas such as public schools, outdoor activities, weather, diversity, nightlife, and health and fitness.
Residents of San Diego enjoy a vibrant urban-suburban mix, with many choosing to rent their homes. The city boasts numerous bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and parks, offering a diverse and lively lifestyle.
Carlsbad
Coming in at No. 23 on Niche’s list is Carlsbad, a coastal city in North County. Also receiving an A grade, Carlsbad is known for its excellent public schools, vibrant nightlife, diverse community, pleasant weather, and abundance of outdoor activities.
Residents of Carlsbad experience a dense suburban feel, with many opting to own their homes. The city is home to numerous restaurants, coffee shops, and parks, making it an ideal place for families and individuals alike.
