Sibling Seeks Protective Order Following Gruesome Death of Kentucky Mother

MOUNT OLIVET, Ky. — A Kentucky woman was arrested two days ago for reportedly killing and dismembering her mother. Now, one of the woman’s siblings has asked for an emergency protective order against their brother.

Torilena Fields, 32, was arrested on October 9 at her home on Brierly Ridge Road in Mount Olivet after her mother’s body parts were found there.

On October 11, Torilena’s sister Telby Fields asked for an emergency protective order against their 42-year-old brother Truitt Fields because she said he had made death threats against her and their mother.

It says in the plea that Truitt is thought to be “armed and dangerous” and that Telby is afraid for her life because her brother is a “monster.”

Telby wrote, “He called and threatened to kill me to get his “birthright” as the firstborn child.”

She also asked that Truitt not be allowed to go to the funeral of their mother because “he is unstable” and their mother “didn’t want him” there.

She begged, “When my body is found, Truitt Fields killed me.” “Give me this order, because if you don’t, I’ll be next.”

Court records show that Truitt was told about the order by police in California, and a move was made for him to give up his guns.

The meeting for the emergency protective order request is set for Oct. 29 at 10 a.m.
