1 min read

SILVER CITY, New Mexico – On Thursday, a teacher at Silver City High School was arrested on charges that she had a sexual connection with a student. Court records show that Felix Thompson told police that he had an inappropriate contact with a student, but he said it wasn’t sexual and that he ended it.

They said they didn’t have sex but did sexual things, but the victim said otherwise. Police said that text messages between the two people backed up what the victim said.

There are 19 crime charges against Thompson. These include tampering with evidence, criminal sexual penetration six times, criminal sexual contact twelve times, and criminal sexual penetration once. He was freed while detention services kept an eye on him.
