Wisconsin Braces for Snow and Subzero Temperatures This Week

1 min read

The week will start snowy in northern Wisconsin and the Fox Valley. On Monday, there is a 40–60% chance of light snow. The forecast is still not very reliable, but snow bands could bring 2 inches of snow and strong winds that will make it impossible to see more than 3 miles away.

Because of a stronger storm, there is a 60–80% chance of snow from Tuesday night into Wednesday. Accumulations of 1 to 4 inches are expected, but the effects look pretty small. The roads may become slippery when it snows, especially during rush hour.

A cold front will bring in bitterly cold weather and strong winds by Thursday morning. In central and northern Wisconsin, the wind chill could drop to -10°F. In the Fox Valley, it could drop to -5°F. People should get ready for dangerous winter weather.
