Wisconsin Man Caught During a Traffic Stop for Possession of Methamphetamine

Bridgeport, Wis. – Authorities in southwest Wisconsin arrested a man during a traffic stop on Monday after discovering methamphetamine in his vehicle.

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office reported that a K9 unit conducted the traffic stop on US Highway 18 in the Township of Bridgeport. During the stop, K9 Diego alerted deputies to the presence of controlled substances inside the vehicle.

A subsequent search uncovered methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia. The driver, 42-year-old Christopher Sharlow of Beloit, was arrested and taken to the Crawford County Jail. Sharlow faces charges of possession of methamphetamine and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked driver’s license.
