101-Year-Old Activist, Famous for Protesting Book Bans, Headed to Oscars

Grace Linn, a remarkable 101-year-old woman, has become a TikTok sensation for her courageous stand against proposed book bans in Florida.

Her journey to fame began with her viral TikTok video, where she protested the banning of books by displaying a quilt at a school board meeting. The quilt, adorned with a bookshelf filled with banned books, was a powerful visual statement against censorship.

“I went into my bank, and my banking friends came out and said, ‘You hit TikTok a million and a half times,’ and then they showed me all the positive answers that were given,” Linn shared. “So I know I was on the right track.”
