ANAHEIM, Calif. – Police in Anaheim say they have caught a man who was involved in a street takeover that hurt two people.

Hassan Hamid Ali, 20, of Torrance was arrested in connection with the event on November 1 at 2:00 a.m., which took place near State College Blvd. and Orangewood Avenue.

Police say that a black Dodge Charger hit the two witnesses. It was later found that Ali was driving that car. Two teens, aged 19 and 18, were discovered lying in the street next to a parked car.

Authorities say that both teens were taken to the hospital with broken bones, cuts, and scrapes.

After a review, it was found that the Charger hit the two people when it lost control. Reports say the two were hit by the Charger and were stuck under it for a short time.

Videos of the accident went viral on social media, and people helped the cops figure out that Ali was the driver.

Ali was caught and booked on Sunday for hit-and-run and felony display of speed.

The probe is still going on.

Investigators want anyone who knows more about what happened to call the Anaheim Police Department at 714-765-1900 or Orange County Crime Stoppers at 855-TIP-OCCS.
