A Man and Woman Wanted on Numerous Felony Charges in Scottdale Were Arrested in Aliquippa

A man and woman wanted on numerous felony warrants in Scottdale were apprehended in Aliquippa on Sunday.

Bobbi Jo Hutchinson, 41, and Westley Matthews, 43, were wanted in Scottdale for assaulting a police officer, escaping, and eluding.

At 4:21 p.m. on Sunday, Aliquippa police were alerted to the presence of a Dodge Charger in the city, which was fleeing an altercation in Scottdale.

At 4:39 p.m., an Aliquippa officer saw the automobile on Sheffield Avenue and followed it.

The police conducted a traffic stop on the Hollywood Bridge, shortly before 16th Street. According to police, a man named Matthews got out of his automobile and came to a stop.

The driver was identified as Hutchinson.

Officers confirmed the warrants and arrested them.

Hutchinson and Matthews were transported back to Westmoreland County on their accusations.
