Former President Trump is scheduled to hold a rally in Rome on Saturday evening, while President Biden will be in Atlanta on the same day. Both leaders are vying for re-election to the White House in the November elections.
U.S. House Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, representing Rome, expressed the need for a larger venue for the rally, emphasizing the strong support for Trump in Northwest Georgia.
Trump’s campaign announced that he would deliver remarks at a “Get out the Vote” rally at 5 p.m. at the Forum River Center in Rome. On the other hand, details about Biden’s campaign events in Atlanta have not been released by the White House yet.
The presidential preference primary in Georgia is scheduled for Tuesday, March 12, with Friday being the last day for early voting in the primary.
