RICHLAND COUNTY, Wis. – Three bags of cocaine were found during a traffic stop in Wisconsin on Saturday, and the police arrested one guy.

A news report from the Richland County Sheriff’s Office says that a deputy pulled over a car for what looked like an equipment violation.

They say that when the car stopped, the driver quickly got out and started walking around the car.

The driver did return to the driver’s seat of the car after being told to by the deputy, but not before a K9 officer from the Richland Center Police Department arrived.

K9 Teddy was sent to a location near the vehicle and told police that they had found three bags containing a white powdery substance that the driver had reportedly thrown away when they got out of the car.

Later, the powdery substance was found to be cocaine, according to deputies. The driver, Carlos Suarez Umanzor, was caught and is now facing both felony and misdemeanor charges.

At this point, there is no more information available. The Richland County Sheriff’s Office wants people to remember to call Richland County Crime Stoppers if they have information about drugs or crimes.
