Social Security recipients can anticipate their March 2024 payments soon. The distribution follows a monthly schedule, with payments processed on the second, third, and fourth Wednesdays. Here’s when you can expect your payment:
- Birth date on the 1st-10th: Payment on Wednesday, March 13.
- Birth date on the 11th-20th: Payment on Wednesday, March 20.
- Birth date on the 21st-31st: Payment on Wednesday, March 27.
Recipients who started receiving Social Security before May 1997 or receive both Social Security and SSI will get Social Security on March 3 and SSI on March 1.
If your payment is delayed, common reasons include recent bank information updates, address changes, or field office delays.
