Two men from Georgia, identified as Stephen Glosser, 37, and his roommate Caleb Kinsey, 34, face charges for setting off a homemade bomb at the home of a woman Glosser had a previous relationship with. They were arrested in February 2023 after surveilling the victim with harmful intent.
During their surveillance, Glosser and Kinsey discussed various violent actions, including shooting arrows into her door, sending harmful items to her home, scalping her, and releasing a python to harm her daughter.
Glosser found the victim’s home online and mapped a path, while Kinsey bought explosive materials and created a bomb.
On January 13, 2023, they detonated the bomb at the woman’s new home in Richmond Hill, Georgia. Fortunately, no one was hurt, but it was a close call. The explosion was caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) made of a binary explosive compound.
Both men were arrested, with Kinsey caught in Louisiana after fleeing the state. They were indicted on federal charges, including stalking, conspiracy to use explosives, possession of an unregistered device, and more. Kinsey faces additional charges for firearm-related offences.
