In a chilling incident on Long Island, a young girl made a horrifying discovery in Southards Pond Park, Babylon, stumbling upon a severed limb. The subsequent investigation has revealed more gruesome details, revealing severed body parts belonging to a man and a woman.
The initial find was a left arm, spotted by a student on her way to school around 8:40 a.m. Suffolk officials have now completed the search, bringing to light the unsettling discovery of body parts that necessitate further investigation.
The Suffolk County Homicide Squad is actively engaged in identifying the two deceased individuals. According to the county medical examiner, a severed head, right arm, left leg (from the knee down), and a right upper leg, believed to be from an adult woman, were found. One leg was discovered in a pile of leaves on the park’s western side.
In a grim contrast, the remains on the park’s eastern edge seem to be from a male. Notably, a right arm, located about 20 feet from where the left arm was found, belonged to a man with tattoos. The female’s arms had no tattoos.
