Last Day for Early Voting in Georgia’s 2024 Presidential Primary

Georgia voters are down to the wire as Friday marks the final day for early voting ahead of the state’s 2024 presidential primary on Tuesday. Approximately 150,000 people cast their votes this week, bringing the total to nearly 370,000, with Cobb, DeKalb, and Fulton counties leading in voter turnout.

In the 2020 elections, nearly 900,000 people voted, with most opting for mail-in ballots due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, about 21,000 people chose to vote absentee. The state, with 6.9 million active voters, is experiencing a 5.5% turnout for the primary.
