In the second Formula E race at Misano, Porsche’s Pascal Wehrlein stole the show with a thrilling last-lap win over Nissan’s Oliver Rowland.

The race was full of twists and turns, with Wehrlein strategically conserving energy in the early stages while others led the pack. Rowland surged ahead for the lead, but Wehrlein maintained an energy advantage, positioning himself for victory.

However, drama unfolded on the final lap as Porsche alerted Wehrlein of a powertrain issue due to heat. Meanwhile, Rowland, unaware of Wehrlein’s troubles, continued to push ahead. But a technical glitch caused Rowland’s Nissan to stop just moments from the finish line, handing Wehrlein an unexpected win.

Andretti’s Jake Dennis capitalized on the chaos to secure second place, while Jaguar’s Nick Cassidy pulled off a daring move to claim third.

Behind them, a tight battle ensued, with ABT CUPRA’s Nico Mueller finishing fourth and Nissan’s Sacha Fenestraz taking fifth.

Sergio Sette Camara continued his impressive run with a sixth-place finish for ERT, followed by DS Penske’s Jean-Eric Vergne in seventh.
