Tragedy struck late Sunday evening outside the El Diamante Sports Bar in the Harbor Gateway area, resulting in one person losing their life and another being rushed to the hospital. The incident occurred around 9:50 p.m. near the intersection of S. Figueroa Street and W. 120th Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Upon the arrival of paramedics, one victim with a gunshot wound was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital, while the second victim tragically succumbed to their injuries at the scene. As of now, the identities of the victims remain undisclosed.
In the ongoing investigation, authorities are on the lookout for three suspects, with two of them reportedly wearing light-coloured sweatshirts and black pants. The third suspect is believed to be dressed entirely in black.
The initial stages of the inquiry prompted law enforcement to call for additional support due to the emergence of a large crowd in the area. Subsequently, the crowd has been dispersed to facilitate the investigative process.
